So I've taken some time to go over some of characters and have come to the conclusion that these characters are among the most important to me. However, it doesn't really matter in the end which is why I went with the title.
Anywho, I'd like to go over why these characters are the most important to me personally and bore you to a stump. The Sorrow
is by all means, my personal favorite of the bunch. She has all this power and weapons in her arsenal but she can't bring herself to use it most of the time, due to an extremely neurotic mindset that was the result of her transformation. This has lead me to draw her in situations that play off this mindset, resulting in reactions from her that I find absolutely adorable. Also, I find her design to be among the better ones.Willian J. Bitey
is mainly here because drawing him is a very enjoyable experience for me. Granted, I do enjoy drawing ANY of my characters, but with Bitey I can get a more expressive character out of him, even though this usually consists of "angy" and "even more angry." He also has a distinctive appearance, which consists of my more "cartoony" drawing style that I tend to dive in and out of very erratically. Boots
is in an interesting case. Not only do I love drawing him for the same reasons I do with Bitey, but it is also the fact that he is a character I adopted from ~xXNeuroticBunnyXx
when she was on her first account. And being an "adopted" character, I've been trying to integrate him into the world of Grislyland with varying degrees of success. However, I believe I've been able to do that better now, and he's even developed an unintentional rivalry with Bitey, via "buisnessy things." Even so, I have tried to keep his personality relatively the same from when he wasn't adopted so that I can get other characters to work off of him and vice versa. It
is a character that also falls in with having one of the better designs to me. However, he also has the honor of being the character that has never spoken a single word. I know this is something that may seem massively unimportant, because it is. I still find it endearing, though, since pretty much everyone of my other characters tend to talk. But he also became the first of a species that I made up along the way, so there's that.Jerris Polski's
significance to me is that she's not significant at all when compared to my other characters. She's a character who is quite possibly the most "normal" out of all my characters. She doesn't have supernatural powers, nor does she possess any real skills to outmatch a lot of the others. Even her design is nothing special. But is because of all this that actually makes her a truly unique character within a world of weirdness.Bianca Hamilton AKA DEET Girl
is a character whom always baffled me in the beginning. Her debut consisted of a single 4-panel comic and now she is one of, if not, my most popular character. I suppose this is because she's the character I've most developed over time, mostly through the aforementioned comic. I also find it encouraging that she has a definitive personality that people enjoy, even though, when you think about it, her actual character design isn't all that spectacular. Just an over sized top and a pair of over sized bottoms, consisting of only one color to each. But I guess its the simplicity that further enhances her personality that makes her appealing to people and myself. And I consider that a one-hundred percent positive result.
And there you have it. My personal favorites slightly analyzed by myself in the most pretentious way possible.
